THE UNIVERSITY OF PERPETUAL HELP SYSTEM DALTA (UPHSD) is a highly recognised institute offering higher education and located in Las-Pinas city, Metro Manila. It is a co-educational institution and was founded in 1975. The University of Perpetual Help has 3 major campuses in Las Pinas, Molino and Calamba. The Jonelta Foundation School of Medicine functions under UoPH and offers the Doctor of Medicine or MD degree which is equivalent to MBBS in India.The degree is recognised by the Medical Council of India and the degree and the institution are listed in WHO, IMED, FAIMER and ECFMG directories.
The Las Pinas campus is spread over four hectares and houses all the offices, lecture halls, anatomy dissection laboratories, animal research laboratories, library, hostel, canteens, play grounds and hospital. Lecture halls are equipped with the state-of-the-art facilities and are fully air-conditioned. Wi-fi and internet facilities are available on campus and the University has affiliations with leading hospitals. Medical Center of Perpetual university has currently 300 beds with fully airconditioned suite rooms, private rooms, semi-private rooms, and ward rooms. The Medical Arts Building is a 7-storey structure that is presently accommodating more than 60 clinics and over 220 doctors The speciality center in this hospital includes Heart and Vascular Institute (HVI), Home Care, Cancer and Infusion Center, Diabetes Educational Clinic, Hemodialysis Unit, Rehabilitation Medicine, Neurosciences Complex, Eye Center, TB DOTS, Pulmonary Services, Multi-Disciplinary Clinic, Women's Health and Diagnostic Center, Kidney Transplant Unit, Laparoscopy Suite and The Med Spa.
